CNC-proven mechanics
The machine structure is derived from the PICOdue CNC series and provides a stable basis for precision and medium-duty machining.
CNC-proven precision mechanics with direct workshop operation: The COMEV CME combines a robust machine design derived from PICOdue with electronic axis drives and modern operator support.
The COMEV CME was developed from the proven PICOdue CNC series. This gives it a significantly more stable and precise mechanical base than a classic purely mechanical lathe.
The operator continues to work directly at the machine. Spindle speed, feed, axis movements, and threading functions are electronically supported and comfortably adjusted via the control panel.
With a maximum height of 400 mm, workpiece lengths up to 5,000 mm, and spindle bores up to 160 mm, the CME is particularly suitable for individual parts, repair work, and medium-duty machining tasks.
The CME is designed for companies that require high mechanical stability and modern electronic functions, while also wanting to work directly at the machine.
The machine structure is derived from the PICOdue CNC series and provides a stable basis for precision and medium-duty machining.
Separate axis drives, continuously variable spindle speed and a modern control panel enable convenient adjustment of machining parameters.
The operator remains directly at the workpiece and controls machining without the time-consuming creation of a complete CNC program.
The CME combines high machine rigidity with electronically controlled axes and a powerful spindle drive.
The generously dimensioned bed provides a stable basis for precision and medium-duty machining, even on long workpieces.
The speed can be electronically adapted to the material, tool and machining diameter. Depending on the spindle version, speeds of up to 2,000 rpm are available.
The axis movements are electrically driven, providing precise, smooth and freely adjustable feed movements.
Rapid traverse reduces non-productive time when positioning the tool and makes it easier to work on long workpieces.
With 400 daN continuous thrust on the X axis and 1,200 daN on the Z axis, the machine provides performance reserves for demanding machining tasks.
The clearly arranged control panel displays positions, speed, feed rate and machine status directly at the workstation.
The CME enables direct machining of one-off parts and repair workpieces. The operator retains control of the process while benefiting from electronic assistance.
The modern machine enclosure, protected tool area and directly accessible controls support a safe workflow.
Positions, speed, feed rate and machine functions are clearly shown on the screen.
The robust carriage design and electric axis drives support precise and smooth tool movements.
Guarding, drive technology and controls form a compact and functional machine unit.
The CME series covers centre heights from 260 to 400 mm, swings up to 800 mm and distances between centres of up to 5,000 mm.
260 mm centre height, 520 mm swing over bed and spindle bore of 110 or 130 mm.
300 mm centre height and 600 mm swing over the machine bed.
350 mm centre height and 700 mm swing for larger workpieces.
375 mm centre height, 750 mm swing and 160 mm spindle bore.
Largest version with 400 mm centre height and 800 mm swing.
