Simple programming
Machining processes are created through clear dialogues and practical cycles – without unnecessarily complex programming steps.
Powerful, versatile, and particularly easy to program: The COMEV PICOdue EVO combines a rigid machine mechanics with a dialog-driven CNC for single parts, prototypes, as well as small and medium series.
The PICOdue EVO is one of the most versatile CNC cycle lathes in the COMEV program. It was developed for users who need high machining performance, flexible workpiece dimensions, and easy operation in one machine.
The dialog-driven COMEV control supports the operator in quickly creating programs. High-resolution electronic handwheels are available for setup work and individual machining.
Different spindle heights, turning lengths, and spindle designs allow for precise adaptation of the machine to the respective manufacturing task.
The machine combines modern CNC functions with an operating concept that allows even experienced conventional turners a quick start.
Machining processes are created through clear dialogues and practical cycles – without unnecessarily complex programming steps.
Continuously adjustable electronic handwheels enable precise manual axis movements directly on the workpiece.
Finished programs are executed safely, precisely, and with high repeat accuracy with the machine door closed.
A precision spindle, ball screw drives of accuracy class ISO 5, and torque-strong axis drives form the basis for high dynamics and reliable manufacturing quality.
The hardened, heat-treated, and precision-ground spindle shaft runs in high-precision bearings within a particularly rigid monoblock cast housing.
Ground, backlash-free pre-tensioned ball screw drives support precise positioning and high repeat accuracy.
Torque-strong motors directly aligned to the ball screw drives enable fast positioning movements and high rigidity.
The naturally aged machine bed features hardened upper and lower guides that are precision-ground in a clamping.
Ground and hand-scraped guide surfaces as well as an additional dovetail mount allow the use of different tool holders and turrets.
A multi-point distribution system with metering valves supplies ball screw drives and guides evenly and reduces contamination by coolant.
The COMEV-CNC has been continuously developed over several decades in collaboration with users. The focus is on short setup times, simple programming, and workshop-friendly operation.
Work area, spindle unit, carriage, and safety systems are designed for good accessibility, high rigidity, and operational safety.
The thermally stable spindle unit supports high roundness accuracy and excellent surface quality in demanding machining.
The rigid carriage construction accommodates both mechanical tool holders and various electric tool turrets.
Full enclosure, certified safety glazing, and integrated monitoring protect the operator during automatic operation.
Four peak heights and six available peak widths allow for precise adjustment to workpiece size, machining task, and required machine capacity.
260 mm centre height, 520 mm swing diameter and a compact machine size for small and medium-sized workpieces.
300 mm centre height and 600 mm swing diameter for versatile production and repair tasks.
350 mm centre height and 700 mm swing diameter for larger and more demanding workpieces.
Largest version with a 400 mm centre height and 800 mm swing diameter over the machine bed.
