Heavy machine mechanics
The 550 mm wide machine bed and the monolithic cast construction provide high rigidity for low-vibration heavy machining.
High performance for long and heavy workpieces: The COMEV PICOtre EVO combines a massive machine construction with dialog-controlled CNC, hydraulic three-speed transmission, and exceptionally large machining capacities.
The PICOtre EVO is the CNC version of the heavy COMEV-Picotre series. It was developed for demanding machining of long, large, and heavy workpieces.
Its dialog-controlled CNC allows for easy program creation directly at the machine. Thus, the PICOtre EVO is suitable for both individual parts and repair work as well as for prototypes and small to medium series.
Four peak heights, numerous peak widths, and various spindle bores allow for precise adaptation to the workpiece and production task.
The machine combines high machining performance with a operating philosophy that is also suitable for small quantities and frequently changing workpieces.
The 550 mm wide machine bed and the monolithic cast construction provide high rigidity for low-vibration heavy machining.
Machining programs can be created directly at the machine through understandable inputs and practical cycles.
Peak widths up to 10,000 mm, large spindle bores, turrets, C-axis, and driven tools enable individual machine solutions.
Spindle head, axis drives, guides, and machine bed are designed for demanding machining and long-term geometric stability.
The hardened and ground main spindle runs in high-precision bearings and is lubricated by a separate oil pump with flow monitoring.
The hydraulically shifted gearbox provides high torque at low speeds and a wide usable speed range.
Ground, backlash-free pre-tensioned ball screw spindles and directly aligned high-torque motors support high dynamics.
1,000 daN thrust force in the X-axis and 2,000 daN in the Z-axis enable powerful feeds during heavy machining.
Hardened and ground guides in a clamping setup ensure high rigidity and long-term precision.
The generously designed slide allows for machining of permissible diameters even with horizontal disc turrets.
The PICOtre EVO is manufactured with precise guides, powerful axis drives, and a fully protected working area .
Oil-lubricated precision spindle with automatic hydraulic three-speed gearbox.
Mechanical or electrical turrets as well as optionally driven tools and C-axis.
Massive cast construction with hardened and ground quill, optionally operated conventionally or hydraulically.
The control developed over many years combines dialog-driven program creation with manual machine operation and automatic CNC processes.
Four center heights, center widths up to 10,000 mm and spindle bores up to 310 mm enable the machining of large and long workpieces.
