The PICOtre T was developed for demanding machining tasks that require high stability, large workpiece capacities, and direct manual operation.
The massive monolithic machine bed provides a stable foundation for medium to heavy workpieces. Center distances of up to 10,000 mm also allow for the machining of particularly long shafts and rotationally symmetrical components.
Despite its size, the machine can be operated precisely and sensitively using mechanical handwheels. This makes it particularly suitable for repair shops, heavy machine construction, and individual part manufacturing.

The precision-ground main spindle is guided in high-precision bearings and designed for high loads as well as precise roundness.
The closed, oil-bath lubricated Norton gearbox offers numerous longitudinal and cross feeds as well as metric, Whitworth, module, and diametral pitch threads.
The generously sized main slide is hand-scraped for optimal fitting to the machine bed and is equipped with adjustable wedge strips.
The robust tailstock features a hardened and ground spindle with a diameter of 115 mm, a stroke of 300 mm, and a Morse taper MK 6.
The clear arrangement of the controls facilitates the setup and machining of large workpieces.
Generously sized guides and handwheels enable stable cuts and controlled feed movements.
The tailstock reliably supports long and heavy workpieces during machining between centers.
